Miguel Morales

Miguel was born in Mexico but came to the US when he was two through his father's student Visa. With only a few years’ exception, he have spent most of his life in Texas. He holds a Computer Engineering Bachelors and a Master of Business Administration. Currently, he leads the Commercial segment in the Americas for a German-based software startup called Cumulocity.

Miguel is also a father of three – including an elementary aged boy diagnosed with Autism, attending AISD. He first met the VELA leadership team through a common friend from his tenure at the Regional Advisory Board for IDEA Public Schools. After attending a few VELA seminars, he found a wealth of knowledge and support that he wish he had discovered much sooner.

Miguel has worked in various technical and commercial roles in technology, from marketing to strategy to sales. He is fluent and literate in Spanish and has a few entrepreneurial ventures he would love to explore. Miguel is committed to using all his lived experience to bring VELA's coaching and wisdom to those in our community that need it most.
